As the holidays come, it is a time of unity and happiness. Though for some individuals it is a rough time. It is a time where loved ones are gone, sick, or financially troubled. For first responders, there is a higher risk because their jobs do not stop for the holidays. Recently CBS Local put out an article stating the risks that our firefighters are taking while on the job. Higher Cancer Risk a Fatal Job Hazard for Firefighters, is an article that states because of the conditions that our firefighters must work in 65% of them develop cancer over their lifetime. Although we all understand the much-needed risks individuals must take to keep our friends and family safe, it does not shield them from harm.
Liquid Equity Partners specialize in developing concrete financial plans for all walks of life. We understand the risks that first responders must take. We have found plans that would fit to tailor your unique situation. As someone who puts their lives on the line every day, if you depend on traditional saving plans, you may be making a mistake. 401(k) saving accounts, can run out over years, also there is an age requirement to access your 401(k). The issue with a 401(k) though it is helpful when setting money aside, should not be your only outlet to save. There is no liquidity.
Living Benefit Accounts are first responders’ best friend.
We have researched many financial plans that can best serve our clients. The Living Benefits Account (LBA), has been around for more than 150 years. This plan has been around for many years, though many financial partners do not recommend it. They are not recommending it for none of the right reasons. The LBA allows us to take your savings and grow them in a tax-free environment. LBA’s give you a liquidity to your assets and allows you to use it in any case of emergency. As a first responder in the case of teminal illness of you or a loved one, it is essential to have money set aside.
